Sewer Excavation

sewerexcavationUnderground plumbing is a specialty trade. When repairing and servicing underground utilities, it's often necessary to excavate around existing utilities, buildings, landscaping etc. The heavy-handed approach to utility related excavation can, and often does, put people and property at risk. Equipment operators need to have the training, experience and judgment to maintain a safe working environment, while keeping "collateral (property) damage" to a minimum.

The Plumber’s Plumber specializes in these types of excavations.  No matter if Clay, Cast Iron Pipes or PVC pipes.  We are equipped to work in wide open areas and tight spaces, performing subsurface excavation even inside buildings. If it's plumbing, and if it's underground, we install it, fix it, move it or remove it.  We use our newest trailer and backhoe to dig and repair broken sewer pipes, crush septic tanks, or any other major issues which we may encounter.

Then, once the plumbing work is done, we backfill it. While that sounds simple, it is actually a little more involved than throwing dirt back in the hole. Mechanical compaction will restore the site to the original grade. Flowable backfill material is most often used in right-of-way (highways, streets) construction.  The Plumber’s Plumber is also committed to surface restoration - returning the jobsite to its original condition to the greatest extent possible.
